jdf4you-vm - The Virtual Machine
jdf4you-vm provides a preinstalled and preconfigured JDF test framework consisting of CIP4 Bambi 2 and CIP4 JDF Editor where you can send and receive JDF / JMF Messages to and from JDF Devices.
CIP4 JDF Editor is used to read and modify JDF / JMF Messages. Additionally there is some functionality to send and receive such messages to or from JDF Devices. CIP4 Bambi 2 is a Print Shop Simulator. In the actual configuration Bambi simulates a few JDF Devices common to most print shops (plate making, press, guillotine).
jdf4you-vm is based on Oracles Virtualbox running a Linux Elive operating system. Elive is an Open Source Linux distribution which combines Debian with the desktop environment Enlightenment.
